Canon EOS 5D in house review
Finally got the Canon EOS 5D camera today, will post a lot of sample photos in the coming next days. Do several tests between my current 20D and 5D with various lenses: 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8IS, 85mm/1.2/, 50mm/1.4, Sigma 12-24mm among others. 
First out is 85mm/1.2

Remember, ALL photos are taken with Canon 5D and 85mm/1.2 (at different ISO, programs, picture styles). Processing steps (Curves & USM).
First impression:
A nice big bright viewfinder, that also have ISO in it!
Huge 2,5" LCD screen , works even in sunlight.. (which was a problem)
ETTL-CIR AF system works better then first expected. My current 20D (as 300d/350d/10D) has the ETTL-BASIS focusing system, while the 1D Series has the most excellent ETTL-AREA system. Focusing performance is very important for me, and so far I must say the CIR AF is performing very well, AI servo works much better than my 20D. (keep in mind I haven't shot any sports yet, just fast moving objects seen on my 40min walk outside today.
)
This guy was moving fastt downhill, on left full resolution - on right a 100 percent crop. Was my first AI Servo test (2 photos).
Second AI Servo test was made with two dogs playing, they moved fairly quick.

For me the dynamic range seem to be much broader compared to my 20D, the shot above is a typical *blown* out sky vs. dark object. Shows detail both in highlights and shadows. Very impressive.
Eirik Urke also bought 5D today, and have done some testing between 5D and 1DsMkII, the samples can be found here.
Study the photos fullsize, and tell your opinion in comments, if you have testing requests, put them in there also!

your portriat shots are brilliant. even for those from DPP.
first, would u mind test some wide shot with your 50/1.4 for far object. (one-shot mode)
i find the 20D exhibits AF inconsistent which is much noticable when using fast wide lenses for far objects (on my 35L it's just anything beyond 3m). probably becuz of lesser details and shallower DOF.
i had AF inconsistency problem with my sold 50/1.8 and now with 35/1.4 but absolutely no problem with 85/1.8.
the new 5D will be perfacet for me if it can focus rite. i am torn between 5D and 1d mk2 N. much appreciate if you could confirm me the above.

Gidday, are you sure that the viewfinger has the ISO information in it? I was under the impression that the other reviews said that it doesn't.

If you press the ISO button, you'll see the ISO value in your viewfinder. Great that you don't have to take your eye away from the viewfinder to change the ISO.
